I know hatchibombotar is not able to join this Saturday, but I was still wondering about meeting and doing other stuff. Either other games or doing a movie night, whatever. I talked to Birdmojo yesterday and he was not sure what was going on, so, Maribou, let me know what you think.

My place this Saturday!!!

Hopefully teh_cassius can come, but if he cannot, I am sure we can entertain ourselves. Characters for Warhammer Fantasy and DnD. Other board games, etc.

teh_cassius, please let me know if you were able to get the day off. Otherwise I need time to clean off the table for us to do something other than the final battle.

AND

The Intrepid Party of Adventurers Who are Three-Quarters United in Their Shameless Pursuit of the Male Gaze (and 100 Percent All About Hitting Stuff).

BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current Noise: humming "It's the Final Countdown" to myself

OK, so I'm certainly down with finishing Descent and making Warhammer FRPG our next campaign, which seems to be our consensus (minus Richard's input).

On Saturday, I mentioned that I'd be interested in DMing an old-school D&D adventure for a session or two, and the more I think about it, the more I'd like to do it. I'd want to use the Swords & Wizardry rules (a "retroclone" that makes 1970s era Basic D&D rules more accessible--both in terms of availability and readability).

If you guys aren't interested in this, let me know, and that's fine. If you are interested, I'll prep something so any night when we can't do our usual thing, or when we hit a gap between thing one and thing two, I can run the D&D. If it's fun, it could be the kind of thing we could easily pick up with little prep any time we wanted to, even if we hadn't played in months. If it isn't fun, we can pretend it never happened.
